Accessing our services
You can access our services by contacting us directly and making an appointment. We also accept referrals from other health practitioners including GPs and Psychiatrists. While you do not need a GP or Psychiatry referral to make an appointment, a referral may be necessary if you are claiming through private insurance. If this is the case, simply ask your referrer to send a letter to us with your contact details and some brief information regarding your reason for seeking our services. Once we receive your referral, we will contact you within 24 hours to arrange an appointment. If you have any questions or concerns about the referral process, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Fees are between £110 and £150 per session to see a Senior Associate Psychologist. Assessments are £180. We are able to offer lower fees with our Junior Associates. Our Senior Associates are HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologists and Chartered with the BPS. Our Junior Associates are completing their Doctorate training in Psychology and are in training members of the BPS.
Payment & Insurance
If your fees are covered by private insurance, please contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment to ensure your treatment in covered by your policy. Sometimes, insurance companies require a referral from a GP or Psychiatrist in order to authorise treatment with a Psychologist. If this is the case, please contact us should you require some assistance with this process.
We work closely with a number of GPs and Psychiatrists, and would be happy to recommend somebody to you.
Many of Altum’s Associates are covered by the major health insurance providers in the UK including AXA/PPP, BUPA, Norwich Union, SimplyHealth, Vitality, WPA, and CIGNA.
If your insurance provider is not listed here, please contact us as we are easily able to register with new providers.
Make a Payment
If you are paying for sessions directly, payment can be made via cheque, bank transfer, or cash or credit card.
To pay via credit card, please use the button below to securely settle your invoice via Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Simply complete the blank field with the total amount due, click on ‘Pay with Card’, and you will be prompted to enter your payment details.
