Nicole earned her first degree in psychology at the American University of Beirut, and took a one-year gap, where she interned as a clinical assistant on an inpatient unit in a hospital in Beirut. Nicole decided then to pursue her postgraduate studies in London, and earned herself a master’s degree in Health Psychology and doctorate degree in Counselling Psychology. She focused her doctoral research on the psychological impact of being the wife of a diplomat.
As a Counselling Psychologist, Nicole believes that offering a warm, compassionate and integrative approach to her clients is the basis for great therapeutic work. She believes that each client is unique and hence, cannot fit into a particular model. Consequently, she integrates different approaches and creates a tailored treatment plan, while always working collaboratively with her clients. In addition to the importance she gives to the therapeutic relationship, Nicole focuses mainly on empowering her clients during their journey by offering them the confidence they need to overcome their issues.
Over the years, Nicole has developed a great interest in working with couples and families, and feels very comfortable in joining such intimate dynamics. She also expresses a great interest in helping clients who are experiencing interpersonal issues and who are going through difficult phases in their lives.
Nicole can offer therapy in both English and French.
