Katie’s first degree sparked a keen interest in both mental and physical health.  Working in various clinical health settings has allowed Katie to work with clients who experience mental health struggles that arise in conjunction with physical health difficulties and deepened her understanding of the interconnectedness of mind and body.  Katie prioritises and values the therapeutic relationship within an integrative approach that includes humanistic, psychodynamic, schema, compassion-focused, systemic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).   Katie works with her clients to carefully tailor treatment to each individual so that clients feel heard and understood, they establish meaningful goals, and that they become active members in their own recovery.

Katie divides her time between London and the Bahamas where her family is based.  She is a mum to two children and when she gets any free time she enjoys running, cycling and yoga.
