Sara earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Sheffield before pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at University College London (UCL). She later completed her professional doctorate in Counselling Psychology at City, University of London, where she received comprehensive training in person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and systemic approaches. Throughout her doctoral studies, Sara gained extensive clinical experience, working with a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges, including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, complex trauma, and psychosis. Additionally, Sara conducted doctoral research on the experiences of women navigating a late diagnosis of ADHD in adulthood and is currently in the process of publishing her findings.
Rather than working with a singular modality, Sara values adopting an integrative, person-centred approach to ensure that her clients are at the heart of therapy. Sara’s practice is grounded in the conditions of empathy, warmth, compassion, and the occasional use of humour.
