Working at Altum Health
Altum Health is London’s premier private psychology practice.
Want to work with a warm, stimulating and altogether fab team? Then please join our growing private practice specialising in the treatment of eating disorders and body image difficulties.
Demand for support with mental health conditions is growing like never before. As a fast-growing practice, we’re always looking for wonderful people to join our team. If you have a passion for supporting people struggling with eating disorders, but also with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions, we’d love to hear from you.
Altum Health was founded in 2005 by Dr Courtney Raspin, in response to the demand for qualified and experienced private clinicians who specialise in eating disorders.
Our team of more than 20 registered psychologists, psychiatrists and dieticians offer a broad range of treatments to individuals, couples and groups, as well as professional training and clinical supervision. We work with adults and children from the age of 13.
We believe in tailored treatment plans, and for each client, we hand pick a therapist to provide the right support according to the specific needs of the individual.
Our multi-disciplinary team is trained in a wide range of therapeutic approaches. The majority of us are well-versed in traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We have a collective interest in Schema Therapy, and several of our therapists are ISST Accredited. We also offer Mindfulness Based CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Body Focussed Psychotherapy.
We are a close-knit, dynamic and mutually supportive team. We know we have a serious job to do, but we carry that lightly and look for opportunities to have fun where we can.
We are actively looking for like-minded psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists and dietitians who have a passion for helping people, to join us.
Here’s what some of our team think of working here
“I love having the ability to work as my own practitioner, but feeling part of a multidisciplinary team, with great values about having the client at the centre of everything we do. We don’t always work in conventional ways, and sometimes with a sense of humour.”
“Altum Health is a fun place to work, because you never know what you’re going to get in terms of patients. But, also the team is quite diverse in terms of their experience, perspective and expertise and so it’s a real mix or ‘celebration’ of viewpoints. That makes for a very rich working environment.”
