Altum Health is London’s premier private psychology practice.
Altum Health is London’s premier private psychology practice specialising in the treatment of eating disorders and body image difficulties.
We also work with patients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, and other mental health conditions.
Our team of more than 20 registered psychologists, psychiatrists and dieticians offer a broad range of treatments, as well as professional training and clinical supervision. We work with adults and children from the age of 13.
For each patient we hand pick a therapist and develop a tailored treatment plan to provide the right support according to the specific needs of the individual.
Our multi-disciplinary team is trained in a wide range of therapeutic models. The majority of us are well-versed in traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We have a collective interest in Schema Therapy, and several of our therapists are ISST Accredited. We also offer Mindfulness Based CBT (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Body Psychotherapy.
We believe that best psychology practice is grounded in evidenced based care, and strive to keep abreast of the latest research and clinical knowledge available.
The Altum Team is also available to provide psychology training sessions to professional organisations such as schools, GP surgeries, and therapy practices. We are particularly invested in enabling other professionals to feel more empowered to treat Eating Difficulties and Body Image Difficulties. We are, of course, also able to speak on a wide range of other difficulties and experiences such as Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Shame, Workplace Stress, Stress Management, Bullying, Shame, and Abuse. If you’d like to arrange some training or a talk, please contact us so that we can work out how we could help.
Whether you are a trainee, newly qualified psychologist, or seasoned therapist looking for some specialist supervision, our Associates are available to help. Please get in touch if you need supervisory input so that we can find out more and put you in touch with the appropriate associate.
