Yakun (Kun) currently completing her BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Manchester and will be starting her MSc in Psychological Therapies at the University of Edinburgh, with a focus on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) for children and young people.
Yakun (Kun) currently completing her BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Manchester and will be starting her MSc in Psychological Therapies at the University of Edinburgh, with a focus on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) for children and young people.
Kun has extensive experience supporting diverse populations, including over 400 hours providing specialist support to autistic children and young adults, and supporting university students with disabilities. She has also facilitated animal-assisted therapy in educational and clinical settings, and has research experience exploring attachment theory, coping strategies, and developmental psychology topics.
Kun is bilingual in English and Mandarin and has experience working with diverse communities. She values creating supportive environments and am particularly interested in working with young people.
Outside of work, Kun enjoys going to the cinema, spending time in parks, and staying active through various sports.
