Sarah is trained in family-based approaches and the Maudsley Model of Treatment for Anorexia Nervosa (MANTRA). Her core training is in existential and person- centred therapy, and she integrates third-wave cognitive behavioural approaches including compassion-focused therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy to support clients in regulating emotions, tolerating distress, and cultivating mindfulness.
Sarah’s therapeutic style is collaborative, curious, and grounded in deep empathy. She aims to understand her clients’ lived experiences and behavioural patterns without judgment, creating a space where healing and growth can take place.
In addition to her work in eating disorders, Sarah has experience in providing coaching for individuals with ADHD, consulting with teams supporting looked-after children, and offering general outpatient psychological therapy. She is particularly passionate about supporting clients with anxiety, depression, women’s health, expatriate experiences, trauma, self-harm, and postnatal issues.
On a personal note, Sarah has lived and worked in both the Middle East and the United States, and brings a culturally sensitive perspective to her practice. She is also a mother of two.
