Shim is trainee counselling psychologist in her final year of the Professional Doctorate at The University of Roehampton. She is a qualified psychotherapist, counsellor and health coach who is registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

Shim has extensive experience working with a range of psychological difficulties including schizophrenia, psychosis, trauma, PTSD, neurodiversity, disabilities, depression, anxiety, ADHD, personality disorders, and more. She is integrative and flexible, drawing on psychodynamic, person-centred, humanistic, cognitive behavioural, PTSD and trauma informed therapies. She provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Shim has clinical experience across NHS services, including IAPT and The Disability Foundation at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, private practice roles, and charitable organisations such as her management position in the mental health charity, MIND
When Shim is not immersed in clinical work or research, she is passionate about nurturing her own wellbeing through yoga, exploring new cultures and finding inspiration in the places and people she encounters along the way.
