Before a career in mental health, Sophie worked in the humanitarian aid sector, where she learned to build trust and connection across cultures and contexts. Since then, she has worked across NHS services, including primary care, secondary care and staff support services, private practice and third sector setting.
Sophie draws on a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support each person, including existential, person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural therapy. She creates an environment that feels warm, whilst also gently challenging where the client might have a blindspot. Above all, Sophie sees it as a true privilege to walk alongside clients as they become fully themselves.
In her free time, Sophie enjoys spending time with her dearest people, going on adventures through the Swiss mountains and enjoying a dip in cold water.
